| Customer Reviews: Great toy December 29, 2009 Annoyed If your E-Charger is only flying 2 feet, there is something wrong. Either it isn't being charged correctly, or it's defective in some way. It's true you can't control the flight, this is not an RC-type toy. It's more like a glider that you just release and let fly. My 5-year-old son plays with these for hours. If you let them go just right, they fly in big circles overhead, then shoot straight for several yards. Often land in our neighbor's yard, an acre away. These are good cheap toys.
Don't waste your money or time! October 20, 2009 T. Parsons 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son loves the air hog brand of products. Everything else we have gotten has been worth the money. But this item is a joke. Please don't waste your time. You charge it and then let it go and it flies maybe 2 feet. Use your money for something else. You have no way of controlling it.
Yes this thing works, but it may not last that long September 4, 2009 Harry M. Shin (Livermore, CA USA) 1. I decided to get this for my kid--> it actually flies very well (must go to a large park) and far and it's really fun.
2. Main problem: this thing is made out of basic styrofoam and it's inevitable that the plane with break... very soon after playing with it.

Toss it just right. December 29, 2008 James (Texas) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It's a good value, if not paying inflated prices. That little motor is impressive. The flow-through air design allows the prop to displace an amazing amount of air. Learing how to toss it in the air takes some practice, luck, and the right breeze. You have to under-hand toss it just right, and try to mimic the toss that works. I looked like an incredible fool tossing it around the first six or seven times, (good thing it's durable). Fortunately, it's designed to fly in a circle, (even when inverted) so it comes back in your general direction. I was expecting to have to run "over 300 feet" every time I threw it. Watching it fly inverted was pretty cool, it seemed to stay in the air longer that way too. Although, I'll admit, inverted flying was just how the plane caught the wind, not my intention. My son, 4 yrs old, agreed that it was fun, and we should play with this plane again.
Con: It doesn't fly 300 feet, not even if you count vertical climb and descent and radius distance traveled. Maybe 300 feet is possible if you stand on a hill, or toss it out a window, but not on flat even ground.
